Grading:
We have received questions from time to time about our grading of uncirculated coins. Wile we don’t use MS numbers in our lists as a rule, we do have a verbal description that corresponds to each number. Fortunately, the price ratio versus MS# on foreign coins is miniscule. For clarity, and for comparing on coin with another, we do feel as accurate a description as possible is desirable.
BU or UNC is the same and depends on toning, color, etc.
BU (MS-60); NICE BU (MS-61); LOVELY BU (MS-62); SHARP BU (MS-63); LOVELY SHARP BU (MS-64); CHOICE BU (MS-65); LOVELY CHOICE BU (MS-66); SUPERB CHOICE BU (MS-67); GEM BU (MS-68)
